Historic Gravesite in the Grand Canyon National Park near Phantom Ranch.
There are only two ways to get to this virtual: (a) a long hike from the canyon rim along the Bright Angel or Kaibab trails, or (b) a river rafting trip down the Colorado river. To get credit for this cache, email me the reason for Rees' tragic death. Post a picture of yourself with your GPSr at the gravesite if you can (without giving away the answer for this cache).
Rees is buried on the north side of the Colorado River just off the South Kaibab Trail, about 500 yards west of the Kaibab suspension bridge.
